| Revealed! Rotimi Amaechi removed 1.9 billion budgeted for Enugu Airport and other South East projects to pad Baro Port Project in Niger |
It has been revealed that Nigeria's Minister of Transport, Rotimi Amaechi personally wrote the Nigeria's National Assembly to request for the deduction of a total of N1.9billion from various projects meant for Enugu and Abia states. This was to enable him in order to pad the budgeted amount for Baro Port Project in Niger State in Northern Nigeria.
