Brazil and Netherlands recall ambassadors executions of citizens. Nigeria keeps quiet
Brazil and the Netherlands recalled their ambassadors from Indonesia and expressed fury on Sunday after Jakarta defied their pleas and executed two of their citizens along with four other drug offenders by firing squad.
The other convicts were from Vietnam, Malawi, Nigeria and Indonesia. The six were the first people executed under new Joko Widodo, the new president. While Brazil and Netherlands protested the execution of their citizen, Nigeria has kept mute over the incident.
