After 3 decades of elusive search for hydrocarbons in the Lake Chad Basin where the Federal Government spent about $340 million and additional N27 billion, in seismic expedition, Nigeria looks set to continue its crude oil exploration in the North East region.

The British government continues to oppress multitudes of Christian Biafrans—a large portion of whom are “Anglican Church” adherents—for the sake of oil and gas plunder.

Nigeria’s woes in the area of dwindling revenue from crude oil sales is expected to heighten, as the South African Petroleum Industry Association (SAPIA) stated that South Africa would likely stop importing crude oil from Nigeria following the lifting of the sanctions on Iran, Bloomberg is reporting.

Nigeria under General Muhammadu Buhari is literary going under. Nigeria’s local currency, the Naira has continued to slide against the US Dollar in the parallel market. There was rapid decent mid this week as it naira exchanged at a historic N300 per dollar in Kano, N290 in Lagos and N292 in Abuja. The previous day Naira exchange for N285 per dollar.

Anambra Oilfields to produce 3,000 barrels of crude per day by September 
Anambra-owned Orient Petroleum Resources Plc has concluded plans to increase its crude oil production to 3,000 barrels per day before September this year. The company has also hatched a plan with an indigenous company known as Nails & Stanley Limited to establish a gas plant in Umueje in Ayamelum Local Government Area of the state.

Fourteen European and Asian immigrants have been remanded in a Nigerian prison by a Federal High Court in Lagos State  following their arrest by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, for pilfering Nigeria's petroleum products.

Jonathan releases full report of NNPC Forensic Audit by PricewaterhouseCoopers

President Goodluck Jonathan Monday ordered the release of the full report of the forensic audit of the accounts of the NNPC conducted by  PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). PWC is a multinational professional services network. It is the world's second largest professional services network, as measured by 2014 revenues, and is one of the Big Four auditors, along with Deloitte, EY and KPMG. PwC is a network of firms in 157 countries with more than 195,400 people.
