The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), on Friday, asked the Federal High Court in Abuja to set aside the ex-parte order that proscribed and declared it a terrorist organisation.

Family Writers Press hereby wish to write this open letter to IPOB Legal Team to bring their attention to a reckless extra-judicial statement made by Prof Yemi Osinbajo, the Vice President/Coordinator of Affairs of Nigeria government, concerning Biafra case which is still pending in Court. The extra-judicial statement made by Prof Yemi Osinbajo (a supposed Acting-President of Nigeria) was contained in a publication made by Vanguard Newspaper which dated 19/6/2017, where he said verbatim that Biafra agitation is a violation of Nigeria Constitution and followed his extra-judicial statement up with another statement of judicial verdict when he said that "Those agitating for Biafra will be jailed".

The Federal High Court No 1 Uyo, in Akwa Ibom State, presided over by Hon. justice Ijeoma Ojukwu delivered judgement in a fundamental Right Suit filed on behalf of Bright Chimezie against the Gestapo outfit, the State Security Services.

The Nigerian government has been eaten the humble pie as both magistrate and high courts were they took Nnamdi Kanu to over fathom charges of terrorism have ordered his immediate release. This has resulted in wild jubilation erupting across Biafran cities. Vanguard reports that major streets of Enugu metropolis,Thursday erupted in jubilation, as the news of the release of the illegally detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) filtered into town.

The Nigerian secret police, the Directorate of State Security (DSS) after dilly dallying finally produced Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) in court today.

Kanu is being charged for misdemeanor. Having found him guilty of nothing, the Nigerian government  charged  with a very flimsy accusation.
