Only a fool would know that something ominous was to happen to him and decide to fold his hands.
In an interview Buhari granted The Cable News, he admitted he knew former President Ibrahim Babangida was trying to overthrow him and did nothing.
To be honest, I don't know what Buhari's apologists thought they were doing when they came out with this interview. In an attempt to probably paint him as one who is not power hungry, they inadvertently exposed Buhari's ineptitude and cowardice. It is on record that his deputy Tunde Idiagbon was the backbone of the infamous regime. Despite that, Buhari's third attempt at the Nigerian presidential seat, after vowing not seek the posts is a confirmation of how power hungry he is.
