The Nigerian Army has accused the Amnesty International  of trying to discredit it. This follows a damning Amnesty International's report, which confirmed that the Nigerian military and police committed crime against humanity by killing unarmed Biafrans who pose no threat to them. Many of the Biafrans were shot in the back confirming tht they were fleeing at the point they were shot.
