Rev Fr. Ejike Mbaka was widely reported yesterday to have criticised Biafrans who have embarked on the massive peaceful protests to demand the immediate release of Nnamdi Kanu, who has been held in detention by the Muhammadu Buhari government despite having been granted bail by the court.

According to the report Mbaka was quoted as saying:.

“Locking up your shops and disrupting economic activities will not add any naira to your pocket, whatever grievance you have could be resolved through dialogue," Mbaka opined.

Mbaka wants Biafrans to remain in shops but not in industries, government and company offices.

He wants Biafrans youths to remain ordinary 'shop owners' but not business tycoons or industrialists.

They should leave his church for him so that his Fulani friends can become his congregation and 'offeringsayers'.
