Biafra erupts in a second day of protest: Hundreds of thousands of Biafrans marching from Asaba to Enugu
The Biafran protest continued for the second day to demand for the immediate and unconditional release of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB). Kanu is being held by General Muhammadu Buhari, even after a court has granted him bail.

The journey continued this morning from Asaba tollgate about to enter Onitsha.

The continued illegal detention of Kanu is stimulating Biafrans into seeking their freedom from the oppression of Nigerian government.
Protesters are marching from Ontisha to Enugu, and so far the Nigerian police and military who tried to stop them yesterday has pulled back, letting the Biafran protesters through.

The protest march has been very peaceful and orderly as usual.
