| Zero Production Target: Shell suspends oil exports indefinitely |
Niger Delta Avengers are about hitting their Zero Oil Production target in the Niger Delta, with the suspension of oil export by the largest oil producing company in the country. Avengers late this week hit the supply lines to Shell's major export terminal in Forcados and Brass. The Shell Petroleum Development Company Limited (SPDC), the Nigerian subsidiary of Dutch oil giant, Royal Dutch Shell, on Friday confirmed militants’ claims that a major damage was done to its oil installations in Delta State in the early hours of Friday, saying the attack had forced it to shut down crude exports indefinitely.
