Alex Badeh, the immediate past Chief of Defence Staff of Nigeria, has confirmed that there are Boko Haram members embedded in the Nigerian military and other security outfits, who have been undermining the effectiveness of the fight against the Islamist terrorists group. According to Badeh, the fight against Boko Haram, was greatly hampered by fifth columnists within the military who leaked sensitive information and operational plans to the terrorist sect.
