After a stunning rally and massive solidarity visit to Mazi Nnamdi Kanu by a group of Artists under the umbrella of 'United Nigeria Artists For Peace and Justice' at Kuje prison, located within the vicinity of the federal capital territory of Nigeria, Abuja, the Artists briefed the numerous media personnel present, even as they jointly condemned the dictatorial tendency of the federal government of Nigeria led by president Muhammadu Buhari and urged him to as a matter of urgency,release the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu and other political prisoners being held by the government, and negotiate with them for peace, in order to address their demands.

Prison Break: Kuje prison boss removed, over jailbreak. To face probe 
Kuje Medium Prisons officer Musa Tanko has been removed from office on the order of Controller-General of Prisons Ahmed Jafa‘aru after two inmates escaped last Friday, Sahara Reporters reports.

Mr. Tanko will be investigated by officers from the Federal Capital Territory Command of the Nigerian Prisons Service (NPS) over the escape, according to Punch Newspaper.

It has emerged that tension is rife in Kuje Prison over conversion of inmates to the Biafran cause. Strong evidence suggests that barely 48 hours of Nnamdi Kanu's presence, inmates of the Kuje Prison Abuja have started pronouncing Biafran Restoration mantra -  "Biafra or Death".

A Federal High Court in Abuja has ordered Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) out of the Department of State Services (DSS). The case presided over by Justice  John Tsoho ordered that Knau be instead remanded in prison.
