Prof Ango Abdullahi, a former Vice Chancellor of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, and the spokesperson for the Northern Elders Forum (NEF) has urged the Nigerian government not to give in to the demand of Biafran activists calling for a referendum to determine the fate of Biafra. Abdullahi, rather urged the Nigerian government to deal with Biafrans firmly in order to sustain the unity of Nigeria.
