Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the owner of the Television Continental (TVC), one of Nigeria’s television stations that heavily campaigned for 'General' Muhammadu Buhari and the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Friday, sacked 145 workers under its employ as a result of economic downturn in the country.

Prominent broadcasters were said to be among those sacked on Friday as the station could no longer cope with a burgeoning workforce.

These broadcasters were the key propagandists that were used to lie to Nigerians in order to sell Buhari, the most unfit person to rule Nigeria to the electorates. The propagandists sold the tyrant who has bungled everything he met on sit since 2015 and thus rendering Nigeria economically impotent. 

PM News gathered that the television station has also shutdown TVC International, with TVC Nigeria now to take over the former’s function.

A TVC source, who escaped the mass sack said there was tension and sadness at the premises of the station as broadcasters who have served the station diligently were shown the way out.

Earlier in the day, tension built up as management of the station beefed up security at its premises, employing the services of policemen to man the gate.

Also, fierce-looking professional bouncers were seen at the station as they took strategic positions, ready to deal ruthlessly with any unruly sacked workers.
