After Kano beheading, Nigerian Jihadists kill another Igbo in Niger State for alleged blasphemy



Another Igbo trader with three others were mobbed to death by an angry mob at Pandogari in Rafi Local Government Area of Niger State


DailyGlobeWatch reports that the Jihadists claimed the victim made some blasphemous statement against the Islamic religion.

The victim, Methodus Emmanuel Chimaije, 24,  reportedly posted the statement on a social media thus sparking off an angry reaction and a pandemonium ensued.

Two churches, three houses, and many shops were reportedly looted and set on fire.

This has been confirmed by the Niger State Police Command spokesperson, ASP Bala.

Late Chimaije was trailed to his residence at Pandogari where he was swooped on and beaten to death along with other 4 personnel of the Nigerian Civil Defence Corps.


Meanwhile, the police have stated it had apprehended no fewer than 32 suspects in connection with the violence that claimed lives in the restive town who will arraigned soon in court
