The Director General of Nigeria's Television Authority (NTA) Mr Sola Omole has confirmed that he no longer has autonomy in operating the affairs of the Nigerian Station.

When asked why the country's news network did not carry the news of the victory of Rivers State governor, Nyesom Wike at the supreme court, Omole stated that ever since the Buhari administration I have been taking directives from Lai Mohammed on what to telecast and broadcast.
I want to plead with Nigerians to bear with the ongoing Change which has affected this media station.
