End Time pieces falling in place: Israel's sealing off of the Al-Aqsa Mosque very significant. Plans to rebuild Solomon's Temple may be underway

End Time pieces falling in place: Israel seals off  the Al-Aqsa Mosque. Plans to rebuild Solomon's Temple may be underway
One of the key signs to watch out for in Christian eschatology is the abomination of desolation that would be performed at the temple in Jerusalem. Bible prophesy watchers have been baffled on how this prophesy will come to pass as the site. This is because where the original temple of Solomon once stood has been under the control of the Muslims. The Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock on the Temple Mount were built exactly on the Holy of Holies of the temple. It has therefore became obvious that for the prophesy to be fulfilled, Muslims must be evicted from the site and the temple rebuilt. Yesterday Israel sealed off the Al-Aqsa Mosque. This is a significant step demonstrating Israeli power over the temple area.

Nigeria: The profile of a contemporary dying country

Nigeria: The profile of a contemporary dying country
"A country dies slowly. Those living during the decline of Rome were likely unaware that anything was happening. The decline took over a couple of hundred years. Anyone living during the decline only saw a small part of what was happening and likely never noticed it as anything other than ordinary." - 'Monty Pelerin'
Any keen observer of events in Nigeria would surely recognise that Nigeria is dying. The signs are there for all to see.

The North is finished without oil, seaport and the Igbos - Mustapha Jokolo (Emir of Gwandu)

Mustapha Jokolo opined that the North is finished without oil, seaport and the Igbos
Alhaji Al-Mustapha Jokolo was the former Emir of Gwandu. When Jokolo speaks, you could pick the brains of the Northern Oligarchy. Gwandu Emirate is the second after the Sokoto Emirate in the lineage of the Hausa-Fulani Caliphate. Both directly originates from the Muhammadu Dan Fodio dynasty who were the founders of the Sokoto Calipahte. While the Sokoto ruling class descends from Usman Dan Fodio, the Gwandu Emirate descends from Abdullahi Fodio, Usman's brother. In addition, Jokolo, who retired as a major was the aide-de-camp to former head of State, General Muhammad Buhari.

Behold Rochas Okorocha's 'WONDER' roads in Imo

Behold Rochas Okorocha's 'WONDER' roads in Imo: One of the roads recently constructed by Rochas Okorocha. While construction is ongoing in one lane, another lane where construction has allegedly been completed is already a mess.
The most prominent achievement the administration of Governor Okorocha of Imo State has been touting has been 'massive' road construction and rehabilitation. However, it has emerged that the roads just like every other thing Okorocha has claimed to have achieved in Imo State has been mere fraudulent and boastful claim. The roads have been denounced as massive frauds that were used to siphon money from the state by Okorocha and his cronies. The roads have actually exacerbated the problems of transportation in the state as the author expressed in the piece below.

How to demonstrate allegiance: Instead of bombing ISIS Turkey bombs Kurds

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has been quite reluctant to join or aid coalition forces fighting ISIS.
Turkish warplanes have bombed Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) targets near the country’s border with Iraq. The strikes highlight rising tensions in Turkey over Ankara’s perceived unwillingness to aid besieged Kurdish fighters in the Syrian town of Kobani.

The Turkish General Staff dispatched F-16 and F-4 jets to the southeastern village of Daglica in Hakkari province on Monday, the Turkish daily Hurriyet reports.

ISIS, Imam Mahdi and the Anti Christ

Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the Caliph and leader of the Islamic State (ISIS) fits the picture of the Sufyani that will kill the children and rip out the bellies of women.
"A man will emerge from the depths of Damascus. He will be called Sufyani. Most of those who follow him will be from the tribe of Kalb. He will kill by ripping the stomachs of women and even kill the children."

"Who is the liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, `even' he that denieth the Father and the Son."

Current events in Syria and Iraq bears the hallmark of many biblical prophesies about the apocalyptic end of the age. The ISIS atrocities and the coalition forces combating them are setting the stage for the final battle that would usher in the anti Christ and finally the Messiah.

What is the United States benefiting from Boko Haram?

What is the United States benefiting from Boko Haram?
The United States denies Nigeria access to military equipment to fight Boko Haram but declares willingness to supply warships to the Nigerian navy to guard the coastal areas of Biafra.
Despite official statements from the United States, overtly condemning Boko Haram and their atrocities in Nigeria, the United States posture indicates that the U.S. does not want the Islamic terror group to be eradicated. It almost appears that the United States, is gaining from the continued attacks of the jihadi group in Nigeria.
One thing Boko has made so clear is its ultimate goal, which is to: i. depose Jonathan’s administration, ii. convert or kill all Christians in Nigeria (mainly Biafrans), and make Nigeria an Islamic Caliphate. This is in line with the ideology of ISIS and other Islamic jihadi groups across the world. The Biafran thus asks: Is this what the United States wants for Nigeria? Do they want Nigeria to be Islamized or they simply want the country to breakup?

United States endorses Atiku for president?

James Entwistle, United States Ambassador to Nigeria and  Abubakar Atiku
It is not a coincidence that the United States Ambassador to Nigeria, James Entwistle, decided to pay a visit to the Abubakar Atiku-owned American University of Nigeria (AUN), barely a week after Atiku declared his intention to contest for the 2015 Presidential election in Nigeria. The Biafran deduces that the visit to the University to merely camouflage the real intention of the U.S. ambassador to the troubled Adamawa State, which was to secretly meet with Atiku to discuss the 2015 general election.

The panic is causing British authorities to shift their stance. Experts have also warned ISIS terrorists could deliberately infect themselves with the virus with the intention of spreading it in western countries.

Bishop Bagobiri tasks Christians to defend themselves against Boko Haram onslaught. It is biblical for Christians to take arms against Islamic jihad
“The Catechism of the Catholic Church describes it as an act of love towards one self; and carried out out in defense of God’s gift to life which we are merely custodians. The theological authorities of the Church are emphatic: Love towards oneself remains a fundamental principle of morality." - Bishop Joseph Bagobiri

Nigeria’s problems started with the 1914 Amalgamation— US Ambassador
A former United States of America ambassador to Nigeria, Walter Carrington, in an interview with the Punch Newspaper says that Nigeria's problem started with the amalgamation of the various ethnic nationalities in the present geographic region know as Nigeria. In his words "It began a hundred years ago (1914) when Lord Lugard, with no regard for the different cultural traditions of the people who inhabited the territories, amalgamated the North and South into one administrative unit to which his wife gave the name, Nigeria". He opined that Nigeria will face major instability if it fails to conduct free and fair elections in 2015.

His notoriety during the war earned him the uncomfortable state of a pariah in the Nigerian military quarters and consequently led to his forced retirement. His colleagues avoided him like plague.

In what appears to be a tip to Boko Haram on how to galvanise Muslims against Christians in Nigeria, the erstwhile Chairman of the Central Bank of Nigeria, who has been fingered in the brutal beheading of Gideon Akaluka by Islamic Fundamentalists, told Boko to stop killing people in Mosque. According to the News Agency of Nigeria, Sanusi specifically decried the incessant killing of people in mosques, markets and schools. He however did not condemn the killings of people in churches, beer parlours, Viewing centres etc.

US sends scietists to study why Ebola did not spread in Nigeria
Apparently baffled by why Ebola virus uncharacteristically did not spread in Nigeria as was expected, the United States’ Center for Disease Control and Prevention has dispatched a group of scientists  to apparently study how Nigeria contained the killer disease.

There is been various speculations that Ebola virus was deliberately introduced into Nigeria, a densely populated country to escalate the outbreak. The world was however taken aback, when the country succeeded in managing the outbreak spread and a lot of infected people successfully treated without experimental drugs the United States was dishing out to citizens and friends.

The embattled owner of the Synagogue Church of all Nations (SCOAN), 'Prophet' Temitope Joshua, is threatening and intimidating his critics over the collapsed of a six storey guesthouse in his church, which killed at least 115 church members. Critics have alleged that the building collapsed out of the negligence and greed of T.B. Joshua, who was expanding the initially-designed two storey building into a multi storey complex to accommodate more church members.
