| Abia Governorship Failed Coup & Related Others: Senior Advocates Of Anarchy Are On Rampage |
(Onitsha Nigeria, 7th of July 2016)- The Southeast Based Coalition of Human Rights Organizations (SBCHROs) comprising: International Society for Civil Liberties & the Rule of Law (Intersociety), Anambra State Branch of the Civil Liberties Organization (CLO), Center for Human Rights & Peace Advocacy (CHRPA), Human Rights Club (a project of LRRDC)(HRC), Forum for Justice, Equity & Defense of Human Rights (FJEDHR), Society Advocacy Watch Project (SPAW), Anambra Human Rights Forum (AHRF), Southeast Good Governance Forum (SGGF), International Solidarity for Peace & Human Rights Initiative (ITERSOLIDARITY) and Igbo Ekunie Initiative (pan Igbo rights advocacy group) wish to tell all Nigerians and members of the international community to hold Senior Advocates of Anarchy in the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) as well as the government of Gen Muhammadu Buhari responsible in the event of total collapse of the country’s pluralistic democracy and constitutionalism including the rule of law and respect for and protection of constitutional liberties .
