Sinking Nigeria deeps hands into reserve food bank as poverty and hardship skyrockets

As a way of cushioning the effect of poverty and hunger in the land, General Muhammadu Buhari on Sunday directed the Minister of Agriculture, Chief Audu Ogbeh to release 10,000 tons of grains from the national strategic grains reserves for national distribution.

Governor Okorocha openly expresses disdain for the poor! I hate poverty, seeing me in a private jet shouldn’t be a big deal – Okorocha

Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State has openly expressed his disdain for the poor. Speaking with SaharaTV on Saturday, Okorocha said he hates poverty. The governor of a state that is owing workers and pensioners stated it is not a big big deal for him to be flying about on a private jet : "Seeing me in a private jet shouldn’t be a big deal.”

Okorocha stated that only the poor will feel bad seeing others flying on a private jet.
