Jamming of Radio Biafra: Nnamdi  Kanu blasts NBC for lying to Buhari and Nigerians

The much talked about Radio Biafra which the Nigerian government claimed it has successfully jammed earlier today is currently transmitting on it frequencies and channels.

The radio station’s transmission which was monitored by our correspondent has it that nothing of the said jammed occurred.

Nigeria's communication regulating agency, the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) has claimed it has successfully jammed signals from Radio Biafra. The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Information, Dr. Shade Yemi-Esan told this to newsmen during a press conference.

General Muhammadu Buhari is bouncing back with his dictatorial tendencies. He has began a crackdown on free speech and rights of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) to express their indignation with the Nigerian government. 

Buhari, in his usual tyrannical manner does not want the world to hear about the monumental injustices Biafrans have suffered under Nigeria. He has unleashed his bloodhounds to go after Biafrans.

Nigeria security firces also yesterday tried to disrupt a peaceful IPOB meeting in Enugu.

Doggy and 'brown envelope' Nigerian online and print media that have been avoiding mentioning Radio Biafra in order not to give it credence has finally turned their guns on the freedom radio station. The truth spewing from the daily broadcast of Radio Biafra appears to be hitting their consciences and tormenting them. It is wrecking havoc on their psyche and they have began to syndicate efforts to try and pull it down. Of course only the guilty are afraid of the truth.

Such truth as preached by Radio Biafra reveals monumental injustice that has been perpetrated on Biafrans as aptly captured by the poem below:

We lived amongst you as one.
We shared with you our wealth and know-how.
We forgot our homes and your home we made ours.
We gave up our language that we may learn yours.
