Saif Gaddafi's, 8 other former government officials sentenced to death by 'Libyan militia'

Saif al-Islam Gaddafi, the surviving son of Libya’s slain leader Muammar Gaddafi, has been sentenced to death in the country along with several other members of the former government.

He was sentenced in absentia on Tuesday along with other senior members of the former Libyan government, including Abdullah Senussi, Gaddafi’s former intelligence chief, and two former prime ministers, al-Baghdadi al-Mahmoudi and Abuzaid Dorda.

Modern day Christian matyrs are being made as the clock ticks. Islamic terror groups in Africa are making this a possibility. The 29-minute video, titled 'Until It Came To Them - Clear Evidence', shows dozens of militants holding two separate groups captive, thought to be in the south and the west of the country.

However, it has emerged that a black African man was among the 21 Coptic Christian martyrs ealier killed by ISIS in Libya for refusing to embrace Islam. Initial reports had it that the 21 Christians were all Egyptians, but Mathew Ayarga, suspected to be from Ghana was among those who died for their faith in Christ.

Hundreds of Ethiopians in Addis Ababa on Tuesday protested the killings of dozens of Ethiopian Christians by Islamic extremists in Libya as parliament weighed a response to the killings.

The killings have roiled the predominantly Christian country in East Africa. Hundreds of protesters departed from the homes of two of the victims and tried to reach Meskel Square, the Ethiopian capital's main gathering place, but police blocked them. They also tried to go to the Parliament but were blocked again.
