General Muhammadu Buhari has finally forced out Ita Ekpeyong, the director-general of the department of states service (DSS) out of office, in what was shabbily masked as a resignation. Buhari has been at loggerheads with the secret service for what he perceived as their support and loyalty for the Goodluck Jonathan's administration.

The Hausa/Fulanis are on a mission! They are definitely hatching a plan against southerners in government. Southerners occupying strategic positions in Nigeria's current government and security outfits including the vice president are being frozen out of sensitive meetings. The latest casualty is the boss of Nigeria's secret police Department of State Services (DSS), Ita Ekpeyong, who was locked out of a security meeting on the orders of Lieutenant General Abdulrahman Dambazau (rtd), who is being rumored but yet to be officially named as National Security Adviser.
