Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti yesterday threatened a reprisal attack if the herdsmen that killed two people and wounded many others in Oke-Ako, town in Ikole Local Government Area of the State. Subsequently, he has inaugurated group of hunters from the state as defence force for residents of the state.

Governor, Ayodele Fayose, has called out his supporters to rejoice with him on the streets today over the expiration of the term of the 19 All Progressives Congress, APC, who had been at loggerheads to impeach him.

The APC lawmakers had on April 4, 2015 issued a notice of impeachment to Fayose, citing cases of abuse of office and gross misconduct.

The apex court held that the suit against the enfant terrible of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) lacks merit.
