Biafran flag overshadows Nigeria!

As the first Nigerian-Biafra War drew to a close in 1970, there was demoralisation everywhere across Biafra. Everyone thought that was the end. Nigerian marauding vandals were everywhere across Biafra, looting, wrecking, maiming and raping. To cap it all the wealth of Biafrans were openly stolen and used to develop other parts of Nigeria and a conscious effort was made to make sure the word Biafra was erased from the minds of the world and never spoken of.

Watch brave Biafran activists unfurling Biafran flags during a live match at the Nnamdi Azikiwe stadium in Enugu during a Biafran derby.

This happened on Friday May 20, during a match between Rangers FC of Enugu and Heartland FC of Owerri, both of which are Biafran-based football clubs.  It was an intriguing moment as football fans suddenly abandoned  at Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu to cheer Biafra. The spectators on sighting the Biafran flag being unfurled and raised up high inside stadium, the crowd of football lovers all all sat up to hail ‘Biafra’. Watch video below.

Fearless Biafrans have raised the flag of Biafra alongside that of Nigeria during a football match between Nigeria and Algeria at the U-23 African Cup of Nations holding in Dakar, the Senegalese capital.
