Thousands of Biafran children trooped out at Aba, Abia State today to commemorate the starving to death of millions of Biafran children during the first Biafra-Nigeria war that lasted from 1967-1970.

WHile the ruling of a lower court had promptly been challenged at the appeal court, Buhari forced Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to issue Certificate of Return to Mr Uche Ogah who came second at the last Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship primaries in Abia State, in order to plunge the state into anarchy.

Gov. Okezie Ikpeazu requested Abia Assembly to approve N30b loan for state government to pay salary arrears

The Abia State House of Assembly on Tuesday approved a N30 billion loan to enable the state government to pay the arrears of salaries owed its workers.

The Speaker of the assembly, Chief Martins Azubuike, announced the approval during its plenary.
