The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu has been gifted with an Ijaw attire and a "sword of Justice and Truth". This is as Kanu was on Thursday, visited by thousands of Biafran enthusiasts from Bayelsa.
The video below shows that the Biafran spirit is spreading like wildfire across the entire old Eastern region.
Addressing the crowd Kanu told the jubilant crowd that Bayelsa is part of Biafra and reminded them that one of the region’s founding fathers, Isaac Adaka Boro and late Ken Saro-Wiwa were all killed by Hausa-Fulani people and not by Igbos.
Kanu who was joined by his father to welcome some Biafran supporters from Bayelsa also said that the Igbo man is more related to the Nkwerre man from Bayelsa than a person from Maiduguri. He also said that Nigeria will return to the original state where it was before the coming of the whites who amalgamated her. Stressing that every part of Biafra will be autonomous and every province will have its own capital, with the indigenous people being in charge of their affairs such as administration, customs, police, with fiscal independence.
