Biafran flag overshadows Nigeria!

As the first Nigerian-Biafra War drew to a close in 1970, there was demoralisation everywhere across Biafra. Everyone thought that was the end. Nigerian marauding vandals were everywhere across Biafra, looting, wrecking, maiming and raping. To cap it all the wealth of Biafrans were openly stolen and used to develop other parts of Nigeria and a conscious effort was made to make sure the word Biafra was erased from the minds of the world and never spoken of.

However things changed with Nnamdi Kanu coming into the show. Although people like Raph Uwazurike brought Biafra back to the consciousness of Nigerians, his methods did not get enough traction across the length of Biafran commoners and intelligentsia as Nnamdi Kanu's. Kanu spoke the raw, naked truth into the hearts of Biafrans and foes of Biafra. And Biafrans flocked around him.

Never has anyone since His Excellency, General Odimegwu Ojukw commanded such level of respect and loyalty from Biafrans, who are naturally republicans.

Today the flag of Biafra has not only been raised once again in every nook and cranny of Biafra but at the heart of Nigeria. Every month, as Nigeria continues in it's charade of trial of Kanu, the flag of Biafra is raised higher in Abuja, the Nigeria federal capital and the move to restore the Republic of Biafra gains additional momentum. 

What an irony!
