Buhari is an Islamic Militant. Operating 'Military Democracy' and 'Islamic Political Militancy' - Archbishop Chukwuma

The Anglican Archbishop of Enugu Diocese, Rt. Rev. Dr. Emmanuel Chukwuma, has accused President Muhammadu Buhari of running a “military democracy” type of government in Nigeria.

Speaking to journalists in Enugu State, Chukwuma issued a stern warning to the president to mind his style of governance, lest his administration crumbles democracy in the country.

He described Buhari as a “military democrat” who is clearly manifesting “Islamic political militancy.”

The clergyman said Nigerians are not happy about the president's pattern of appointments which is mostly in favour of the North.

He noted that the Federal Government has done virtually nothing to address the threats posed by armed herdsmen killing Nigerians across the country.

His words: “Mr President should know that he is the President of Nigeria, he should know that he is a civilian democrat, not a military democrat.

“He is operating a military democracy, and he is also exhibiting Islamic political militancy, that is what he is exhibiting.

“This will not augur well for this democracy, it may affect the democracy and it will crash. He should understand that this is not the way to get Nigeria united in a democracy.” said Chukwuma.
