We own Biafra. It is embarrassing for Igbos to ask us to join Bafra - Akwa Ibom elders

The elders of Akwa Ibom State, have declared their full support for the restoration of Biafra. The declaration was made through a powerful statement by elders of Eket community through Dr Edmond Thompson Akpabio. 

According to Comrade Prince C Obuka, of the Biafran National Youth League (BNYL): “Currently on three days visit to Akwa Ibom State. I was in Eket, Esit Eket, Oron yesterday. 

“It was marvellous. I consulted the chiefs, and a well-known elder statesman Dr Edmond Thompson Akpabio.

“His advice: ‘tell the Igbos to stop asking my people to join Biafra, we own Biafra, the Bight of Biafra lies here in Akwa Ibom.’”
