Following a challenge thrown by Ekiti State Governor, Ayo Fayose to Aisha Buhari, the the embattled wife of 'General' Muhammadu Buhari, facing serious allegations involvement with the Halliburton scandal, to visit the United States in order to clear her name, the All Progressives Congress (APC) on June 27th announced that the First Lady would travel to USA today, June 30 to attend the World First Ladies Conference holding at Colorado USA.

However, information from the media director in the Office of the Wife of the President, Zakari Nadabo indicates that the First Lady has canceled the proposed trip.

Nadabo disclosed that the wife of the president had left for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for lesser hajj.
