Breaking: Middle Beltans declare independence from Nigeria. Unveil currency featuring Major Gideon Orkar

The ethnic nationalities in the Middle Belt part of Nigeria have declared independence from Nigeria. The Federal Republic of Middle Belt was declared with the unveiling of  their currency, which prominently featured Major Gideon Orkar, who plotted to overthrow General Ibrahim Babangida in 1990. Part of Orkar's plan was to excise (delete) the core Northern Nigeria from the country.

The group behind the independence move, posthumously elevated Major Orka to the rank of a General. The states making up the Middle Belt Republic include: Benue, Niger, Kwara, Kogi, Plateau, and Nasarawa. and the FCT Abuja.

Although this is not yet very serious, it demonstrates where Nigeria is headed. This is the first time such an audacious move has been made by the ethnic nationalities in the so called Middle Belt.
