Nigerian Govt instructs banks to secretly deduct N1000 from every account holder to support Buhari's nefarious agenda |
The Nigerian apex bank, the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has instructed all financial institution to deduct at least One Thousand Naira (N1,000) from every Nigerian account holder. The CBN claimed the order was from the federal government.
The directive will kick off from 1st of June 2016. One of CBN top official who confirmed the story but defended the action says it is necessary for Nigerians to contribute in financing the effort the government are doing in returning Nigeria back to her former glory.
“My brother, see our president is trying oh, all these countries Buhari is travelling to has promised to assist Nigeria in recovering all the funds our corrupt officials has starched abroad. They also promised to bring investors to our country, my brother Nigeria will be great again under Buhari”.
When asked about the purpose of the money.
“You see all these travels Buhari is doing are not cheap, and you know Nigeria has no money to finance all these good work our president are doing at the moment. Now, even our minister of finance Lai Mohammed could not get just N13,000,000 loan from NBC to enable him and his team to travel to China for the interest of Nigeria, it’s a shame. Nigerians should learn to support their country, when they support Buhari to continue all the good work his government is doing, the country will be better for all of us”.
When will the deduction commence?.
“It has started oh, some of us in the banking industry and other financial institutions have received message stated “Dear Customer N5,000 has been deducted from your account for president Muhammadu Buhari Transformation Program. Thanks for supporting the Change Agenda” but I heard that national commencement date is June 1st.
Why did the federal government embark on such sensitive project without informing Nigerians on what to expect?
“My brother, you just said it is sensitive. How do you want federal government to announce such thing without the opposition not making politic out of it? I believe the government knows that if they make it open, PDP or all these human right organisations will go to court in order to stop this great work Buhari is doing” What is wrong if the government asked her citizen to contribute in running the country?.
Why N5,000 from your account instead of N1,000?
“Nobody said it’s N1,000, what I heard is from N1,000 that does not mean it is limited to that amount. From what I heard is that if your balance is above N1,000,000, then N10,000 will be taking off from your account. If your balance is between N101,000 to N1,000,000 that means N5,000 will be deducted from your balance. Those that have between N10,000 to N100,000 will have N1,000 taking from their account. While those with less than N10,000 will not see any deduction from their account”.
