Niger Delta Avengers bomb NNPC gas line in Ogbe-Ijaw Delta State. Explosion was so massive that it shook foundations of surrounding houses

Niger militants believed to be Niger Delta Avengers have bombed another section of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) gas line in Delta State. The recent attack occurred near Ogbe-Ijaw in Warri South West Local Government Area (LGA).

The incident, which occurred at the early hours of Friday morning, was carried out by militants armed with dynamite and other dangerous weapons. The impact was so massive that it shook the foundations of surrounding houses.

A traditional ruler in the area, who confirmed the incident, disclosed that houses in the area were shaken to their foundation from the blast. Stating that the explosion would cause significant loss to oil production to Nigeria.

Anonymous military sources with knowledge of the area have confirmed the blast.
