Call your Herdsmen to Order, people will be forced to retaliate, Fani- Kayode, Aniete Okon to Northern Govs  as Nigeria slowly slides to anarchy

Femi Fani- Kayode has asked the Northern governors and other leaders from their zone to call the terrorist Fulani Herdsmen who have been terrorizing persons from other parts of the country to order. Fani- Kayode who noted that the warning has become imperative, said that the action of Fulani Herdsmen could lead to retaliation, adding that enough is enough.


Also speaking in the same vein, Pioneer National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Senator Aniete Okon who described the action of the Fulani herdsmen as barbaric and totally unacceptable, urged the governors to call the herdsmen to order as Nigeria cannot afford to witness yet another civil war.

Both Kayode and Okon in separate text messages to Vanguard were reacting to the position by Northern governors that Fulanis were not culpable in the spate of killings in Agatu, Enugu, others.

Fulani terrorists and the hypocrisy of Northern Governors

Fani – Kayode said, “This madness and endless attempt to rationalise and justify it has to stop. It is in the interest of the northern and Fulani leaders to call their herdsmen and militants to order. Nigeria is already on the road to Kigali. If they don’t stop the slaughter of southerners, the raping of southern women and the stealing and pillaging of southern lands by their kinsmen our people will be forced to retaliate and this country will burn and break. “Nobody wants trouble and I deplore violence and bloodshed but this is the reality. We must pull back from the brink before it is too late. A word is enough for the wise.”

According to Senator Aniete Okon, “It is a confirmation of complicit involvement of a very substantial number of the leadership elite in the North with Governors as mere poster boys of the conspiracy that birthed the roiling insurgency that is blighting the country. The Governors are privy to Its mutation into an invading murderous force down the road towards the southerly reaches of the country.

“The abdication and dereliction of responsibility for ensuring security of citizens as is obvious from the cavalier posturing and tardy response to the vicious and wanton destruction of lives and communities. It underlines without any questions the betrayal of the mandatory and basic imperative of guarantying the citizens right to security any and every where as covenanted under the Constitution.

“The glaring insensitivity as conveyed by the position of the Northern Governors is indisputably fed by this complicity. I salute Gov Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi for his brave and passionate response to the very trying challenge.”
