Oriental Times reports that the Nigerian army invaded a Catholic church at Nkpor, Anambra State today 30 May at 1am and opened fire on more than 500 family members of the Indigenous People of Biafra who were reportedly lodged in the church prior to the commencement of the Biafran Remembrance Day celebration.

At least two were recorded dead and huge number of others seriously injured with unknown numbers taken away by the military.
