Amaechi's wife consoling him over the electoral defeat? Possibly. |
The Rivers rerun election has been marred by revelations of bribing of INEC official by All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates and chieftains.
A video has surfaced online showing Azubuike Nwajoku, a candidate of the APC for a seat at the Rivers State House of Assembly, as he storms the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) collation centre in Ikwerre Local Government Area and violently confronts an unidentified electoral official demanding a refund.
Nwajoku, accompanied by thugs invaded the collation centre, approached the desk of an INEC official in the collation centre, banged the table, confronted him violently shouting, “Where is my money?”.
The incident, sources say, happened in the morning of Sunday, March 20, 2016 after attempts to rig the elections by the APC were thwarted by vigilant voters and it was apparent that Nwajoku had lost the race to the state house of Assembly. Following the confrontation, a fracas ensued attracting the intervention of security personnel on duty.

The plot to rig the Rivers rerun election was championed by Nigeria’s minister of Transport, Rotimi Amaechi who is embroiled in a national scandal after an INEC collation officer, Mrs. Ekwi Adebisa was arrested with fake results sheets and $100,000 at Novotel Hotel in Port Harcourt where Amaechi had lodged her for the night of Saturday, March 19, 2016.
Detectives had taken Mrs. Adebisa to the Mile 1 Police Station, Sunday. Amaechi, in the company of Ibim Semenitari, MD of NDDC, and Dakuku Peterside, DG of NIMASA and 400 soldiers stormed the police station and demanded she be release to him.
When I shared the pix of Hon. Azubuike Wonjoku the APC house of Assembly candidate for Ikwerre LGA here,APC cretins called me a liar and propagandist, now the video has surfaced.Watch and be blessed.
A longer recorded version of the incident shows the peaceful manner in which INEC official were working at the collation centre before Nwajoku, who is popularly known as Bike, entered the facility to disrupt the results collation.
