An anti-Rochas Okorocha protest is ongoing in Owerri, the Imo State capital. The state is practically on fire with citizens and members having overtaken every part of the capital.
The Nigerian Labour Congress stated it has commenced the shutdown of Imo State, in a showdown with Imo Government termed “work to rule” aimed at stopping what they termed Governor Okorocha’s anti-people policy of concession.
While the Labour is marching from one end of town, Some youths, mobilized by the government, are marching from another end in support of Government’s concession policy. The fear now is a possible clash when they eventually meet.
