Buhari turns Ogoni into Syria. Dead bodies litter streets of Ogoni as Nigerian Army engages civilians in heavy shootings
General Muhammadu Buhari has succeeded in turning Ogoni land into Syria. Eyewitness report that the community has been turned into a ghost town.

Heavy shootings that caused commotion on Monday night in Yeghe community, Gokana Local Government Area of Rivers State has continued as soldiers raided the community allegedly in search of an ex militant leader, Solomon Ndigbara aka Osama Bin Laden or Solo. The soldiers razed the house of the former warlord was razed by the soldiers in process.

Indigenes of the community were said to have abandoned their homes and fled to neighbouring communities as the soldiers took over Ndigbara’s house and its surroundings.

It was gathered that the army operations were extended to Khana Local Government Area even as some people were said to have been injured while scampering to safety.

Sources said that some youths working for the former militant leader had set ablaze the campaign office of the Rivers South-East senatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Senator Magnus Abe, in Bori, Khana LGA.

The attack on Abe’s campaign office, according to a community source, was in retaliation of the soldiers’ raid of Ndigbara residence.

When contacted, the Public Relations Officer, 2 Brigade of the Nigerian Army, Port Harcourt, Captain Eli Lazarus, said there was an ongoing military operation by the Army in Gokana, promising that the media would soon be briefed on the matter.

Also, the media assistant to Abe said he would soon send a press statement on the development in Khana Local Government Area. He had yet to respond as of the time of filing this report on Monday night

An eyewitness had the following to say regarding the tense situation in Ogoni:

"Since yesterday I arrived in Bori from PH, I have not closed my eyes to sleep. Massive shooting between men of the Nigerian Army and some well armed restive youths loyal to an ex-militant leader popularly known as SOLO. The campaign office of senator magnus Abe was set ablaze. It is believed here that the senator is the one instigating the military against SOLO.

"Some other people were reportedly killed in Yeghe community by the army, but that I can’t confirm. But Bori became very restive today as the men of the Nigerian Army started shooting sporadically, aiming directly at innocent people. The information we heard is that the armed youth killed some military personnel last night, so the army was out for revenge.

"This young okada man was shot death by men of the Nigerian Army with two other women who later died in the hospital. Right now, Bori is a ghost land, everyone is indoor. The worst is that the men of the Nigerian Army that are supposed to protect the people from this armed criminals are the ones killing the people."
