General Muhammadu Buhari's indiscriminate crackdown on innocent people is escalating the tension brewing in the Eastern Region of Nigeria.
A group of ex-militants in sympathy with the agitation by the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) who claimed the responsibility for the detention of a ship on Friday along the Bakassi Pennisula, have release a grainy picture of the hostages, with the militants wearing black balaclavas in the background holding what appeared to be highly sophisticated weapons.
The group, which recently gave the Nigerian government a 31-day ultimatum to release Nnamdi Kanu, the IPOB leader and Director of Radio Biafra, said the concerned Niger Delta agitators were abreast with the incarceration of Kanu.
