Breaking!!! Biafrans BLOCK the Head Bridge at Onitsha over FG's failure to present and release Nnamdi Kanu in court today

Information reaching The Biafran is that Biafran protesters have just blocked Onitsha head bridge.

An IPOB protester just called in on Radio Biafra saying "We have blocked the Onitsha head bridge and we will not leave this head bridge today till they release our leader even if it takes 10 years. the police and army here are tired and have ran away. We are more than 30 million here. if they do not release our commander the zoo (Nigeria) will burn down. I am taking video of what is happening now".


We are at the Ojukwu statue here at the head bridge another speaker said and we have blocked this bridge. He tells the world that everybody is very angry, they should release our leader or else no peace for Nigeria.

All markets in Anambra State are closed. The protesters say that no cars will come into the state nor leave.

Nnamdi Kanu is supposed to appear in court today 01/12/2015 but the Biafran protesters in Abuja were told that the father of the magistrate presiding over the matter just died yesterday night and so the court will not hold. The protesters believe this to be a gimmick by the Nigerian Federal government.
