We are approaching our ELASTIC limit, having exhausted all possible legal and peaceful means to resolve this - IPOB

We are approaching our ELASTIC limit, having exhausted all possible legal and peaceful means to resolve this - IPOB
The failure of the Nigeria's secret police, the Directorate of State Security (DSS) to produce Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) in court today is giving rise to a number of speculations regarding his whereabouts and wellbeing. Many Biafrans have wondered if their leader is still alive.

The Directorate of the IPOB have however, stated that the elastic limit of Biafrans is almost being exceeded and they may not guarantee what Biafrans would do if the Nigerian government continues to toe this line of extra judicial detention and keeping incommunicado of their leader.

The IPOB stated that it has almost exhausted every legal and peaceful means to resolve this, but  the Nigerian government appears to be nudging them to resort to other means of resolution.

The IPOB warned Nigeria of the consequences that would befall the country if they continue to hold Kanu in illegal detention and flouting court orders.

Recall that Nnamdi Kanu has been granted bail and all bail conditions fulfilled by Biafrans. Yet, despite receiving three courts orders the DSS has refused to release Nnamdi Kanu on bail. Today they failed to produce in court.

The Deputy Leader of the IPOB, Uche Mefor, during the Radio Biafra broadcast of yesterday stated that Biafrans decided to use legal and peaceful means to resolve the issue not out of weakness, but to demonstrate to the world that Nigeria is the aggressor, who is intimidating Biafrans and denying them of their fundamental rights. Mefor reiterated that IPOB may not guarantee how Biafrans would react if Nigeria continues to be headstrong in this matter.
