Owerri is shaking. There is excitement around Imo state as the IPOB Peaceful protesters hit the state state capital, Owerri in numbers unimaginable bigger than what participated in similar rallies in Onitsha, Port Harcourt, Aba, Asaba and others still on the way coming. Rochas Okorocha who bragged that he will crush IPOB protesters is nowhere to be found.
Supporters are still trooping in to the streets from Royce, Wetheral Road, Okigwe Road, Orlu Road, PH Road, Aladinma, Egbu Road. They matched past Douglas road and warming up at Ama-awusa with a heavy military and police officers following behind, while others are blocking some access road to impede the protesters movements.
