#NnamdiKanu: Biafran Army Chief in secret meeting with commanders in Enugu. Tension rises in Nigeria

The Biafran Chief of Army Staff (name withheld) yesterday addressed the 17 commanders of Biafran Army and guests in Enugu, briefing them on strategies following the illegal arrest of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu by the agents of the Nigerian government.



IgbereTV reports that tension is rising across Biafra as Biafran freedom fighters reacts to the illegal detention of Kanu.

The directorate of IPOB has given Nigerian government ultimatum to immediate release Nnamdi Kanu to forestall mayhem across the country. The directorate stated it would not be able to contain the anger of Biafrans if Kanu is not immediately released.

Meanwhile, the Russian president Vladimir Putin has asked Nigerian government to release Nnamdi Kanu. President Putin used his tweeter handle to show his solidarity with Biafrans.
