| Wike and Rivers PDP jabs Amaechi over Buhari's rejection |
The Rivers State Governor Barr.Nyesom Wike and some top leaders of the Rivers State caucus of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) yesterday at the Government House Portharcourt celebrated the announcement of the new Secretary to the Federal Government and other appointments, which precluded former Governor Rotimi Amaechi.
PUO REPORTS reported that a PDP source who reached them last night revealed that it was a moment of sober reflection as the plan of the Rivers State PDP has come to fruition,since General Mohammadu Buhari failed to appoint Amaechi on a any key federal positions, which heavily favoured the northern Nigeria.
It has been touted for the past couple of months that due the the fact Amaechi looted Rivers State treasury to fund Buhari's campaign, Buhari would compensate him with the SGF position.
The Biafran checks confirms that Amaechi was not the only northern stooge riling at Buhari's recent appointments.
Yoruba leaders of the All Progressives Congress are so embittered and currently left in shock. Some who summoned courage have accused Buhari of pursuing a Northern Nigeria Agenda.
