General Muhammadu Buhari has continued to cut Igbo presence from the Nigeria government. The nepotistic anti-igbo chainsaw he has been wielding since he became Nigeria's sole administrator, this time fell of the Managing Director of the Assets Management Corporation of Nigeria, (AMCON), Mustafa Chike-Obi.




Buhari dissolved the management team of AMCON alongside and replacing Chike-Obi, with another Hausa-Fulani, Ahmed Lawan Kuru, according to statement released by Buhari's Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the President Femi Adesina.

The new management is constituted by two Hausa-Fulani, one Yoruba and one Igbo as shown below.  
  • Ahmed Lawan Kuru – Managing Director 
  • Kola Ayeye – Executive Director 
  • Eberechukwu Uneze – Executive Director 
  • Aminu Ismail – Executive Director 
Adesina, stated that Ahmed Kuru was the Group Managing Director of Enterprise Bank Limited and has always worked for key Northern Oligarchy banks beginning with the Habib bank.

“He started his banking career with the old Habib Bank in 1985 and rose through the ranks to become an Executive Director of Bank PHB (now Keystone Bank) in 2005.
