Muazu resigns after successfully delivering Nigeria into the hands of Northern Oligarcgy
The embattled National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Adamu Muazu,Wednesday, resigned as chairman of the party following pressure from party leaders, stakeholders and supporters of the party.

Muazu led the party to the slaughter at recently concluded presidential charade in Nigeria. Despite being a very influential figure in the North East region of Nigeria, having been a two-time governor of Bauchi State, Muazu failed to deliver his state for the party and his region contributed the least vote to his party's presidential flag-bearer Goodluck Jonathan.

That was a job well done! Specially crafted to deliver Nigeria back to the Northern Oligarchy. To accomplish the task, Muazu had to pretend to still love the PDP in order not to draw a suspicion. However the likes of Governor Ayo Fayose couldn't allow the charade to carry on and persistently demanded for his resignation.

Muazu had probably intended at best to remain in PDP to continue to sabotage the partyor breakupup the party by pooling out with his men.

In a letter he wrote to the Deputy National Chairman, Prince Uche Secondus, Muazu, noted that due to the abysmal performance of the party in the 2015 general elections, it became imperative for him to leave and for peace to reign in the PDP.

In the letter, he asked Secondus to step in as acting National Chairman in line with the party’s constitution.

As at the time of this report, the leadership of the party is holding a National Working Committee, NWC meeting on the former chairman’s resignation.
