| Isiala Mbano march against Ararume |
The youths and women of Isiala Mbano in Okigwe Zone of Imo State have expressed their anger and disappointment in Senator Godwin Ifeanyi Ararume over his activities and roles in both the governorship and House of Assembly elections in the area.
Speaking during a mass protest recently in the area, the spokes person of the group, Comrade Chima Njoku said the youths and people of the area are not happy with the activities of Senator Ararume who they allege is distabilising the political growth of the area and also mortgaging the future of the Isiala Mbano Youths.
He said they are surprised that senator Ararume, a leader of the PDP in both the state and the area could work against his party and the general wish of the people of Isiala Mbano because Governor Rochas Okorocha promised to hand over to him in 2019.
Comrade Njoku said they are angry because Senator Ararume has given the world the impression that he is the sole leader of the Okigwe Zone when he never did anything for the Okigwe zone even after representing the zone at the senate for eight years emphasing that the zone has other notable leaders like His Excellency, Chief Ikedi Ohakim, former governor of Imo State, chief Chinedu Chukwuonye, and a lot more who he said have contributed so immensely to the growth and development of the Okigwe Zone.
He asked INEC to conduct a credible election in the affected areas for the re-run election, insisting that the choice of the Isiala Mbano people is Lady Mrs Joy Mbawuike for the State constituency based on her contributions to the growth of Isiala Mbano over the years and RT Hon Emeka Ihedioha for governorship of Imo state.
Comrade Njoku asked the people of the area to disregard the antics of Senator Ararume who he said does not mean well for the people of Isiala Mbano as it has been established that he is only concerned about his personal interests as he was alleged to have collected a huge sum of money from governor Okorocha to help him conquer the Okigwe zone during the governorship election in the state.
On the his part, comrade Ahaka Obinna the President of Ohaneze Youth wing, Imo State chapter who is also from the area said that senator Arerume is a spent force who should have retired from active politics as he has lost the goodwill of the people of the area.
Comrade Ahaka reaffirmed the support of the people of the area for lady Mbawiuke who he said has empowered a lot of people from the area including the youth and women who have benefitted so immensely from her self sponsored empowerment schemes.
Comrade Ahaka said that the youths of the area are poised to resist Senator Ararume who he alleged has brought in over 300 thugs from Aguleri in Anambra state with who he intends to rig the election insisting that the people of the area have condoned enough of his treachery and sabotage.
It is however rumoured that Senator Ararume reached a financial agreement with Governor Okorocha to deliver the Okigwe zone to him even as a PDP chieftain which a lot of people argue is his worst political mistake.

The Owerri man in his fraudlent nature will look for the means to make sure he rigs election to win so as to continue in his 419 business. The man in Ebonyi will come out to fight with matches to make sure he wins by all cost.
