Elombah reports that the Muslim youths had trekked down to a Christian dominated community (Hayin Gada) calling them with all sort of vulgar names and attempted to destroy Assemblies of God Church in the area all in the name of celebration of El Rufai's victory over the Peoples Democratic Party [PDP].

The imposition of the curfew is to avert reprisal attacks by the angry youths who are rumored to be recouping for a pay back.
Kaduna state police command has issued a press statement to that effect and has since deployed many police men to the town to contain the situation.
