Mr. President, Nigerians Began checking out from 1966!
“Something must have gone wrong along the line from 1914 when the Southern and Northern Protectorates were amalgamated till date. When you look at the 1914 amalgamation of the Southern and Northern Protectorates, and between the period Nigeria got independence in 1960 and the time I was sworn-in as president, you will agree with me that I am not the problem of Nigeria. I have just stayed two years and the problems have been there before me. What we must do is to make a change for the development of Nigeria. We cannot check out like that of the television man.....”, he added.”

Something Is Wrong With Nigeria –Jonathan •Says: ‘I’m Not The Problem’

The current crisis that continues to bedevil Nigeria is not just a symptom of the problem but the accumulated effects of the cultural clash of ethnic nationalities with nothing in common that make up Nigeria. That the leadership has become immobilized, no different from a deer at night immobilized by the headlights of an approaching speeding car, in stupor refuse to budge from their irrational and untenable position as they helplessly supervise and accept the continuing and senseless massacre of their peoples because of their refusal to accept the inevitable and irrefutable trajectory of Nigeria to its impending demise, even as they continue to grasp at straws in their embrace of the one-Nigeria nonsense, is not only disheartening and heartrending especially as the deaths and sufferings of those they are sworn to protect continue to multiply in the tens of millions.

Why is it so difficult for the leaders of the ‘British Birthed Abomination’ Nigeria, a country birthed on controlled anarchy, hatred, mayhem and violence against its peoples, whose only purpose for being from a review of its bloody history is the looting and pillaging of mother Africa, to finally, after nearly 100 years, accept its un-workability and the inevitable demise of this nonexistent and make believe entity and begin to work towards a peaceful dissolution that will be definitely beneficial to all ethnic nationalities that makeup Nigeria in particular and, of course, Africa and the world in general?

“PRESIDENT Goodluck Jonathan has absolved himself of any complicity in causing the woes of the nation, saying its problems were as old as the country itself.

The president, who said emphatically that he should not be blamed for its socio-economic and political problems, noted that the crises predated his mounting the saddle of leadership two years ago.” .

Saturday Tribune

Mr. President, nothing went wrong along the line from 1914 when the Southern and Northern Protectorates were amalgamated till date. No, when ethnic nationalities without commonality of interests are forced under the same umbrella, the failed and mirage of a nation, Nigeria, is what you get, it is that simple. Can you imagine what India and Pakistan would look like if they had remained one nation? Sudan and Southern Sudan is another of the many examples. The contradictions that continue to tear Nigeria apart cannot be mitigated or resolved, no, the recent implementation of Sharia under the watchful eyes and quiescence of General/President Obasanjo and the support of most Northern leaders including Buhari (who now wraps himself in ‘holier than thy rule of law indignation’ as he protests to high heavens) in 12 Northern states was the final death blow on the Nigerian coffin!

Mr. President, of course, you are not the problem of Nigeria but when you took an oath as the president of Nigeria, the welfare of all the ethnic nationalities that constitute Nigeria became your problem. As the saying goes, the buck stops on your desk! Excuses cannot bring back the thousands maimed and the hundreds that continue to lose their lives monthly because selfish leaders interested in only their self-interest refuse to do the right thing.

The deaths and suffering of innocent Nigerians condemned to a life of deprivation, want and/or death must not be in vain or continue nor can they be wished away and their unwilling sacrifice swept under rug as the entrenched cabal that continue to hold your presidency and the populace hostage continue their looting and pillaging of Nigeria under the guise of one-Nigeria. That Buhari doubled down on his recent extremely irresponsible statement even as the nation remember and mourn the innocent lives, limbs and/or property lost because of similar statements made by him after his inability to clinch the presidency in the last election, is not just a warning and a reminder of the impending disaster if you refuse to face reality but of the bloody dissolution that is definite instead of a managed path of peaceful dissolution.

Mr. President, you must not allow yourself to be tricked into repeating the Ironsi mistake, surrounding himself despite pleas to the contrary with enemies because he had bought in to the one-Nigeria propaganda, forgetting the history of the cabal and their minions determined to hold Nigeria hostage. Hopefully you do understand that the belligerence of your critics will get louder and louder as they pull every trick in the book to sabotage your administration as you seek ways to decouple them from the billions or trillions that they have continued to loot and pillage from Nigeria; as you seek ways to finally do the impossible - create a corrupt free Nigeria; as you seek ways to achieve the impossible - patriotic Nigerians.

“Speaking in Hausa language while receiving a delegation of the CPC from Niger State, Buhari was quoted as referring to the Federal Government as the biggest Boko Haram. He was also quoted as saying: "God willing by 2015, something will happen. They either conduct a free and fair election or they go a very disgraceful way. If what happens in 2011 should again happen in 2015, by the grace of God, 'the dog and the baboon would all be soaked in blood.”

Buhari dares Jonathan: Arrest me if you can, By Emmanuel Aziken, Political Editor

It is surprising that you appear floored by the support by the Northern governors for the recent utterances by General Buhari’s unmitigated irresponsible statement. What is new?

“The 19 northern governors on Thursday rose in defence of the Presidential candidate of the Congress for Progressive Change, Major-General Muhammadu Buhari.

Buhari's party on Wednesday had described the Jonathan administration as the “most corrupt ever,” in response to the Presidency and the Peoples Democratic Party's attacks on his person over a comment in which the retired General threatened bloodshed in 2015 if the government dared rig the elections.

The northern governors on Thursday said Buhari's comment was in order, observing that many eminent Nigerians had made worse comments.

Chairman of the Northern Governors' Forum, Babangida Aliyu, during a question-and-answer session with journalists after the Forum's meeting in Kaduna, noted that Buhari had only sought to keep the Federal Government on its toes in order to ensure a free-and-fair election in 2015.”.

Shocker for Jonathan: Northern governors defend Buhari

Mr. President, has this not been the modus operandi of the leadership of the North? Need we remind you that your election was the most credible presidential election up to date even if more improvements are necessary? Who is unfamiliar with the rigging or do or die presidential elections since Nigerian independence under them or should we remind Nigerians of the many coups effected because a section who see themselves as born to rule refuse to relinquish power? Who is fooling whom? No, it is not about rigging, it is about exposed paper tigers, the born to rule and their juniors partners, most Yoruba leadership who having solidly established themselves in positions to continue to loot and pillage Nigeria are not about to relinquish their strangle grip even if their peoples are in distress, who having been exposed for what they are, unable to see any legal means to the presidency are now resorting to their age old strategy of controlled anarchy and violence. Simply put, it is about the control of the natural resources, in this case oil, of other peoples - it is about the right to continue looting and pillaging Nigeria by a select few and their minions who believe that Nigeria is their property to do as they wish.

The irresponsibility of this select group of Northern leadership is traceable to the unyielding and uncompromising mindset of the Sarduana, so why should we be surprised at the belligerence of Buhari?

“The new nation called Nigeria should be an estate of our great grandfather Uthman Dan Fodio. We must ruthlessly prevent a change of power. We use the minorities in the North as willing tools and the South as a conquered territory and never allow them to rule over us and never allow them to have control over their future”.

Parrot Newspaper, 12th October 1960. Recalled by Tribune Newspaper, 13th November 2002.

Or one of his many interviews below, displaying his open attitude of utter disgust, revulsion, repugnance, abhorrence, repulsion, antipathy, loathing, hostility or hatred against fellow citizens openly expressed even in international circles.

When two thirds of the founding fathers of Nigeria considered it a geographical expression or looked down on Nigeria with contempt - the stance of both the Sarduana and Chief Awolowo, why should we be surprised by the defense of Buhari by those who continue to mouth one-Nigeria?

“Chief Obafemi Awolowo, the undisputed leader of the Yoruba together with his followers believed that Nigeria was a mere geographical expression. They believed staunchly in protecting the interest of the Yoruba Nation. …

Sir Ahmadu Bello, the Sarduana of Sokoto and his followers believed that North should be for Northerners, West for Westerners, East for Easterners and the Federation for us all (where ever the federation is). Almost all the Northern leaders of today are staunch followers of Ahmadu Bello except the few followers of Alhaji Aminu Kano and J.S. Tarka"

As you are aware, Mr. President, the ethnic nationalities that makeup Nigeria have been in existence for thousands of years, if not hundreds of thousands of years. Nigeria is a recent construct of the British, less than a hundred years old. It was as you are aware put together without consultation with the ethnic nationalities that makeup Nigeria. Nigeria was imposed by the British victors over what the British considered defeated peoples in disregard to the commonality of interest or lack thereof of these peoples, Nigeria is hence a slave nation and its only mission is to continue to enrich the victors not the Nigerian citizenry. Why should it then surprise any that from inception, Nigeria continues as a genocidal and failed nation. Mr. President, there are no true Nigerians, just Fulani, Hausa, Beron, Ijaw, Ogoni, Yoruba, …, Igbo, this is precisely why Nigeria will continue as a failed state - it is just a convenient union where whoever is in power is expected to loot and pillage the country to the benefit of a select few.

“Transparency International, through a letter by its legal consultants, the Hague-based Fitch and Associates, addressed to President Goodluck Jonathan, expressed worry over the increasing cases of sleaze and scams in Nigeria in recent times. It noted that corruption rate was so high that the body had to double the number of its country rapporteurs in Nigeria, to be able to catch up with events. Significantly, there was staff movement in reverse direction from zero-corruption countries like New Zealand, Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Singapore, Norway, The Netherlands, Australia, Switzerland and Canada to Nigeria in this regard.

No doubt, corruption has assumed alarming proportion in the country. The pension fund scam, the probe of the stock exchange and indeed the fuel subsidy fraud are more than enough to scandalise our citizens even more than foreign organisations. The bleeding of national resources translates into low productivity in the economy and unemployment for the people; and above all, it decreases investors’ confidence in the economy. Transparency, public accountability and rule of law are necessary impetus to foreign direct investment, and sensitive to corrupt environment.

Since the advent of the prevailing democratic dispensation, the country has not performed well in the area of probity, especially public funds expenditure. In 2000, 2004 and 2005, the country was rated as the most corrupt country in the world. It was ranked first among corrupt countries in the world in 2000 and third in 2004 and 2005 respectively. Last year, TI ranked Nigeria 143 out of 183 on the corruption perception index. In that report, two-thirds of ranked countries scored less than five on a weighted scale of 0-10. Nigeria scored 2.4. Ghana was ranked 69, with a score of 3.9; South Africa was 64, with a score of 4.1, while New Zealand, Denmark, Finland, Sweden and Singapore topped the list as the most transparent. The report underscored the point that corruption has continued to plague many countries across the world, indicating failure of governments to protect citizens from scam in the form of abuse of public resources, bribery or opaqueness in decision-making; and of course, their unwholesome repercussions. It is also worth recalling that only a few months ago, a report by the United States Annual International Narcotics Control Strategy indicated that Nigeria was not doing”

The Guardian

Transparency International on corruption in Nigeria

Mr. President, you cannot be surprised by quotes from the above Guardian editorial. That Nigeria is an entity specifically designed to be looted and pillaged should be no surprise to you as Sarduana, the most important player after and during independence, whose stance has been serially quoted above continue to confirm.

“Speaking on Friday during a funeral mass in honour of Mrs. Theresa Ekpeluchi Chime, mother of Governor Sullivan Chime of Enugu State, at the St. Mary's Pro-Cathedral Church, Udi, Jonathan said that it was high time a change was made to correct the ills of successive regimes.

He said the problems of the country could only be solved by Nigerians, stressing that running away from the country like Andrew of the rested NIgerian Television Authority (NTA) fame would not be the best option, as every Nigerian must remain here and make a positive change to move the nation forward."

Something Is Wrong With Nigeria –Jonathan •Says: ‘I’m Not The Problem’

Mr. President, of course, a change can be made to ‘correct the ills of successive regimes’ but it cannot be made with blinders on as we mightily strive to ignore the contradictions that continue to tear Nigeria apart. Nigeria is not the first country that has not worked nor is it or will it be the last failed nation. In fact dissolution of unworkable countries is the norm as the world continues to embrace the rule of law and as its turns its back on despots, dictators and military coups and embraces democracy in its many forms. More countries will choose the path of peaceful dissolution especially in Africa where colonial or slave masters drew lines without consultations with ethnic nationalities with nothing in common, forced into these mostly abominable unworkable unions.

Like it or not, the 12 Moslem Northern states seceded when they implemented Sharia. This action of great import cannot be swept under the rug nor can it be wished away. It will not go away. Boko Haram is an evidence of this undeniable fact. Need we be reminded that the continued massacre, pogroms and genocides from 1914, the amalgamation of the Southern and Northern Protectorates, to the continuing massacres and genocides of the present, is rooted both in religion and also the total lack of commonality of interests of the ethnic nationalities that make up Nigeria, neither should we forget the most debilitating factor of the Nigerian union - two diametrically opposite forms of governance, Feudalism built on a foundation of controlled anarchy on one end; and Ohacracy, the collective servant form of democracy on the other end; two forms of governance that will always seek to destroy the other, they cannot and will never occupy the same space.

With the implementation of Sharia, the die was cast. Any true practicing Muslim, especially their leadership, spiritual and otherwise, in those states now have no choice but to embrace Sharia since it is the way of life of the faithful. This explains why these leaders will not and cannot condemn Boko Haram as they murder and create mayhem in Nigeria.

“In his paper titled "Nigeria 1914 to date – A chequered journey so far", which he spoke to, the former Vice Chancellor of the Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Prof. Ango Abdullahi faulted the amalgamation of Nigeria by the former governor- general, Lord Fredrick Lugard, describing it as the greatest and grave mistake that had befallen Nigeria.

He urged that leaders should find and take a quick resolution to correct the mistakes created by the amalgamation, as delay would be late and dangerous. He cited the case of India where the British committed similar mistake, but the Indian example has been resolved through the creation of the state of India, Pakistan and Bangladesh.

In similar cases, he urged Nigeria to take a clue from what is happening in the United Kingdom (UK), where the Northern Ireland and Scotland are fighting separation as sovereign nations, while drawing example from the recent development in Sudan, where the country have divided into the Sudan and Southern Sudan.

Prof. Abdullahi said that the three examples are all British colonies and that the earlier a decision is taken on the continued status of Nigeria, the better. According to the former Vice Chancellor, "things are more likely to become complex in the future, until the correct things are done. We cannot ignore these facts or we continue to pretend as our leaders that this is a passing phase. The question of a likely disintegration is not a too distant future".

The former Vice Chancellor also faulted the growth rate in the country, stating that though Nigeria is growing at the rate of 7 per cent per year, but it does not reflect the actuality on ground as over 100 million Nigerians still live at below one dollar per day, with a life expectancy going down at less than 48 years.”

BREAK UP NIGERIA INTO ITS COMPONENT PARTS:

Prof. Ango Abdullahi Ex VC Ahmadu Bello University (ABU)

Mr. President, your choice boils down to only two options:

Accept the demand of Boko Haram and hence the total conversion of Nigeria to an Islamic nation; or

Begin the process for the peaceful dissolution of Nigeria into nations with commonality of interests.

There is no imaginable path to move the nation forward, other than the options above, it is an impossibility. The first option can only lead to bloodshed and mayhem as a religious war will ensue and spread throughout the nation. The second option is hence the only possible option, an option that allows each ethnic nationality to govern itself, grow at its own pace, control its political space, control its resources, and decide if it wants to go it alone or come together with other ethnic nationalities it has commonality of interests with to form a workable union. This option will make it possible for these new emerging nations to continue to work together as friendly nations.

Nigeria is dead!

Long Live the Islamic Republic of Arewa!

Long Live the Republic of Oduduwa!

Long Live the Peoples Ohacratic Republic of Biafara!

Long Live other Republics born from the demise of the ‘British Birthed Abomination’ Nigeria!

Long Live mother Africa.
