I will lead  in accordance with the Sharia irrespective of your tribe or religion -Sanusi Lamido swore at coronation
Lamido Sanusi has once again confirmed his zealousness for the work of Allah. During his coronation yesterday as Muhammadu Sanusi II, as the 57th Emir of Kano and 14th Emir of Kano in the Fulani dynasty, Lamido Sanusi vowed that he would rule residents of Kano State, in accordance with Islamic teachings (Sharia) irrespective of their tribe or religion.
“I thank everyone for attending this occasion, especially the governor for selecting me. I assure you that I will lead you in accordance with Islamic teachings and with the fear of God irrespective of your tribe or religion,” he said.

This invariably means that the rights of Christians, and Biafrans in the metropolitan Kano city will not be respected by the new emir, whose leadership will solely be based on sharia and Islamic doctrines. This a clear case of aberration in a country that pretends it is secular.

The Emir was sworn-in by the Chief Imam of the Kano Central, Professor Sani Zaharadden, Two former Nigerian dictators and war criminals, General Yakubu Gowon and General Muhammadu Buhari witnessed the ceremony. The governors of Rivers, Niger, Zamfara, Yobe, as well as the Sultan of Sokoto, Oba of Lagos and the Emir of Damagaram in Niger Republic, were also in attendance.

Sanusi's Islamic extremism is an open secret. He studied in the renowned extremists Islamic Univeristy in Sudan, the same time Osama bin Laden was training terrorists in Sudan. He returned to Nigeria alongside former Zamfara State Governor, Sani Yerima, who ressurected the sharia crises in Nigeria.

Sanusi was detained afterwards for about two years for instigating the beheading of Gideon Akaluka for an alleged abuse of the Koran. With such a person ascending the throne of an Emir, Biafrans in Kano State are in mortal danger.
