United States endorses Atiku for president?

James Entwistle, United States Ambassador to Nigeria and  Abubakar Atiku
It is not a coincidence that the United States Ambassador to Nigeria, James Entwistle, decided to pay a visit to the Abubakar Atiku-owned American University of Nigeria (AUN), barely a week after Atiku declared his intention to contest for the 2015 Presidential election in Nigeria. The Biafran deduces that the visit to the University to merely camouflage the real intention of the U.S. ambassador to the troubled Adamawa State, which was to secretly meet with Atiku to discuss the 2015 general election.

United States' body language has shown they are not comfortable with Jonathan’s administration. A lot of effort have been to discredit his administration, latest being the extra-hyping of the Chibok Affair and the covert arms deal saga in South Africa.
The United States might have settled for Atiku as Muhammadu Buhari's antecedents as an Islamic extremist makes the U.S. government uncomfortable.
